"ROSE OF THE CABARET."
Mr Havelock Williams, representative of the Second South Canterbury Regimental Band, was in Ashburton yesterday to make arrangements for the staging at the Theatre .Royal'on Tuesday, August 24, ,pf- ''Rose of the Cabaret," a two-act 'musical comedy. This company has been very successfully organised to arrange for the raisins; of funds for tlie Ballarat Contest Fund. The performance is under the auspices of the Bth Ashburton Mounted Rifles' Band.
