The Tramway Union rejected the final offer of the City Council which made the minimum Is 9d an hour and the maximum Is lid, the present rates being Is 5d to Is 7£d. The union being for Is lid. to 2s 3d. The Mayor has agreed to meet the executive in a further conference on Monday morning.
