LORDS AND "DUMPING."
The Lords, by -23 -votes to 24, refused the second reading of Lord Bali'our of Burleigh's Bill for the protection of key industries and against dumping, though Lord ißirkenhead supported it, .announcing the .Governemnfc was jpre,pared to confer with its authors with a view to facilitating its passage, with improvements. Lords Emmott' and Beau champ led the attack against the Bill.
