Messrs H. Matson and Co. conducted a successful' clearing sare at Lowciitin yesterday, on. account, of Mr -H. Hawku, who is going in, for dairying. There was a fair attendance. The stock was m good condition, and good prices were realised. The following were the principal sales:— Sheep—36o 2-tooth ewes at 25s 9d, 120 do. at 26s sd. Horses—Mare (oyrs) £22 10s, do. (aged) £25, do. (3yrs) £17 10s, geaiding (7yrs) £24 10s, do. (3yrs) £2/. Cattle—Heifers £6 5s to £8, steers £4 10s to £8 ss, cow £6 to £10.
