SYMPATHY FOR FRANCE.
LONDON, May 5
The "Daily Chronicle's" Berlin'correspondent says that according to long dispatches from a German special correspondent with . the ■ peace delegation, the members were deeply impressed by the sight of the wasted regions of France and Belgium. The "Vossiche Zeitung" says: "The spectacle throws a clearer light on many things than a hundred conferences. These people suffered horribly: Naturally their fists are clenched and they "curse us."
