SYDNEY, May 9. A severe earthquake has been recorded, north of Rabaul. William Doyle has been committed for trial. for-,the : murder of Hugo Tuck, also known as Albert Spencer, who was found dead in his lodging at Elizabeth Street. The Fremantle wharf trouble has been settled, the Nationalists having voluntarily retired.
