RELIEF FOR BELGIUM
(Received 'May 7, 1.45 p.m.) : PARIS, May G. Marshal Foch opposes the signing of the peace treaty, because the military protection of France is inadequate. The peace treaty will be presented to the delegates of the minor Powers at the secret plenary session. The Allies will release Belgium from the repayment of 240 millions of loans, besides giving Belgium priority of payment of one hundred millions of the indemnity in gold.
