CAR OVERTURNS.

WELLINGTON, May 1. A motor-car accident occurred on the Paekakariki road to-day at M'Kay's Crossing, about two miles north of Paekakariki. The driver took the wrong turning and while the car was being turned on to the road again a wheel callapsed and .the car completely somersaulted, righting itself on its wheels again. There were six passengers beside the driver. Mr Farquhar, of the "Auckland Star," was rendered semiconscious cut about the forehead, and it is believed his right arm was fractured.
