Tvlr 11. Frisby, Willowby, having sold bis farm to Mr Herbert Watts, Porowhita, a clearing sale was conducted on the property yesterday by the New Zealand Farmers' Co-op. There was a large attendance of farmers from all parts of the County. The stock all round was in good condition," and were disposed of at prices entirely satisfactory to the vendor. For the implements and sundries there was also keen competition. The following were the principal sales:—
Sheen —Three hundred and ninety-two fat lambs at 26s Id, 299 fat and forward wethers at 21s Id, 42 do. at 27s 4d. 10 fat ewes at 25s Bd, 200 six and eight-tooth ewes at 28s 9d, 130 do at 27s Id. 102 two-tooth ewes at 26s Bd, 151 do. M 26s 4d. 88 do. at 26s 2d, 73 two-tooth half bred ewes at 23s 6d, 7 Border Leicester rams at 2gns. Horses —Mare (aged) £6, do. (aged) £16. do. (6yrs) £28, gelding (Byrs) £30. do. (7yrs) £32, do. (3yrs) £23, filly (3yrs>) £18, yearling colt and yearling filly at £8. Cattle —lieifer in profit £12, cow in profit £14 10s, fat cow £12 15s, fat heifer £7 10s, fat steer £5 15s. Pigs—Three baconers at £4 10s. Docs—One at £4 15s, 1 at £3 2s 6d. Implements, etc.—A very scales £4, two coils netting at 32s 6d, 3 at 275, 5 at £3 10s, stack scoop £2 12s 6d, sheep-feeder £7 10s, hayrake £1 12s 6d, stripper £5; 10s, single-furrow plough £2 10s, four-leaf harrows £2 10s, fiveloaf do. £9 10s, three-leaf twitch harrows £8 10s, rotary, harrows £2, tripod harrows £15 10s, grubber £25, discs £12. three-furrow plough £12, do. £33, six-horse yoke £5 10s, roller £22, drill £63 10s, tarpaulin £5, binder £26, dray and frame £17 10s, do. £12 10s, dray £27 10s, spring-cart £22, trolley £7 10s. one ton manure £7 10s.
