SIGNING THE TREATY

The Council of Three met and debated the Italian question and KiaoChau.
It is reported that a solution of the Kiao-Chau question lias been reached, China and Japan accepting. (Received May 1, ,2.15 p.m.) 'PARIS, April 30.
Official: The Kiao-Chau dispute has been settled. Japan has agreed to. surrender Tsingtau, too, in due course. (Received May 1, 11.45 a.m.) PARIS, April 30.
All the- Allied belligerents, excepting Italy, will attend the Conference's plenary secret session on Saturday, when they will be invited to ratify the text of the preliminary peace treaTy. The German delegation receives the text on -Monday.
