What is the longest word in the English language: "Honorificabilitudinity" and "antnropomorD.hologically" were recently mentioned in this relation. But it has been pointed out that the claim, of the well-known sesquipedalian word "antitransubstantiationistically" which contains 32 letters, has been overlooked. And it will be remembered that in old English spelling books is given at the foot of a column of long wordß this one: "HonorificabilitudinitibusQue, which has one more syllable that Shakespeare used on "Love's Labour Lost."
