AUCKLAND, April 29. For the first, time-in three years the annual conference of the Commercial Travellers' and. "Warehousemen's Association of New Zealand is again being, held, and opened in Auckland to-day. The Mayor formally welcomed the delegates, and said h& could hardly find words to express his appreciation of the patriotic services rendered by the commercial travellers. Mr J. Brown responded. Tlie Conference passed a resolution in regard to the conclusion of the war,, after which the president (Mr J. Garrett) delivered his annual address. He remarked that the financial condition of the Association was. so sound that the sphere of its work would be considerably extended if members so desired.
