MEXICO'S PROTEST.

NEW YORK, April 27. The Washington correspondent of the New York "Times" states that the Mexican Government ha^s informed the French Government that Mexico cannot recognise the financial clause in the armistice under which Germany promised the Allies she would not dispose of any property yeild in foreign countries. Mexico contends that the promise is contrary to the .Mexican constitution and the terms of the Ger-man-Mexican treaty.
