Reports from Helsingfors indicate that the inhabitants north of Lake Ladoga, assisted by the Finnish army, attacked and defeated the ■ Bolsheviki, who are rapidly retiring. ; STOCKHOLM, April 26. Red Guards regiments, joining eleven thousand cotton-mill hands at Ivanovovoznesenzk, revolted against the Bolsheviki, and proclaimed an independent anarchist State.
(Received April 28, 11.43 a.m.) LONDON, April 27. A member of the Finnish Mission in London states that Finnish volunteers, co-operating with the anti-Bol-sheviki, northward and eastward of Lake Ladoga, hope to cut the Murman railway.
