CAUSES OF DEFEAT.
SYDNEY, April 24. Mr Bruntnell, M.L.A., has returned from New Zealand, where he 'participated in the Prohibition campaign He said that the main causes of defeat was a feeling among sympathisers that it was unwise to take a vote while the soldiers were away, and the apathy shown by the women of the Dominion.
