(Received April 23, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, April 19. Admiral Staras, commander of /the American mine force, will arrive immediately to undertake the removal of the minefield he laid between the Orkneys and Bergen, consisting of fifty-seven thousand mines, which were manufactured in America and conveyed to the North Sea in fifty-six steamers, whereof only one was torpedoed. 'The clearing of the mine field will occupy four months.
