AUCKLAND, April 19. The Auckland Racing Club's Autumn Meeting began to-day in showery weather. There was,a large attendance. Results:-— ■► .

Great Northern.—Star Lady 1, Afterglow 2, Lovematch 3. Scr: Rebekah, Merry Bruce. Won by 2$ lengths. Time 2 37 2-5.
Brichton Hurdles. —Waimai 1, Ditto' 2. Thrace 3. All started. Won by three-auarters of a length. Time, 3min 48 3-ssec.
