AVESTPORT, April 19. A big blaze in Westport occurred early this-.morning. Penny's Palace Restaurant was completely . burned down, a.nd also Hallenstein's clothing factory. Ndttle's, the adjoining premises, "were badly damaged «.and, the stock ruined. A photographer's was seriously damaged, as was also Lawson's shoe shop. A brick wall saved the the fire from spreading up the town. Lawson's stock and window was somewhat damaged. The insurances were: Lawson £2000 premises, £3500 stock; Nottle £350 stock. Penny - had a narrow escape of his life. Other insurances are not vet available.
