TJie annual meeting of householders was held in the school on Monday evening, when a total of 34 were present, a record gathering for a householders' meeting in' the district. Mr Percival was voted to. the chair. The report and balance-sheet was read and adopted. Discussions took place re various subjects, and it was resolved to protest to the-Education. Board on account of the insufficiency of t!iie incidentals for carrying out necessary work about the school. There were 11 nominations for a committee of five, and the following were elected by ballot:—Messrs iD. Symej Geo. Currie, Hooper, Sutton, and W. Grieve. At the meeting of the new committee, Mr ■I>. Syme, chairman of the outgoing committee, was re-elected chairman.
