(Received April 16, 1 p.m.) NEW YORK, April 6. The New York Bar Association tendered a dinner to Earl Reading, at which Senator Elilm Root, in the course of a speech, said that the union of Britain and the United States was necessary in order to preserve the peace of the' world, and prevent the spread of Bolshevism.
