The New Zealand Farmers' Co-op. conducted a successful clearing sale at Barrhill yesterday on account of Mrs E. Collison. who lias leased her property. There was a large attendance and eood competition, the whole of the stock and implements being disposed of at current values. The following were the principal sales: — Sheep—l2o halfbred sound-mouth ewes at 27s 2d, 147 failing-mouth ewes at lis, 47 fat ewes at 245, 97 fat lambs at 25s 6d. 89 f. and f. lambs at 19s 3d, 8 store lambs at lis 6d, 13 cull lambs at 16s, 1 four-shear E.L. ram 4gris, 2 do. at 32ns, 1 do. 2£gns. Cattle—Dairy cows £8 10s to £14, heifer £8. two-year-old steer £9 ss, calf £4 15s. Horses—Mare (Gyrs) £28 10s, do. (aged) £5 10s, do (4yrs) £35, do. (7yrs) £9, gelding (4yrs) £20, do. (Byrs) £13, do. (7yrs) £21 10s, do. (syrs) £25 10s, do. (svrs) £9. Pigs—Two fat pigs at £3 10s. Implements, etc.—Dray and frame £11. cultivator £4, do. £4 10s, discs £5. chain harrows £16, double-furrow plough £6, three-furrow riding plough £25 10s. six-horse block £3 10s. poller £7, stripper £2 . 10s-, binder £3, gig £15. do.
