WAKANUI
There was a large attendance at the householders' meeting on Monday nightj over 40 being present. The committee's report and balance-sheet was read and adopted, the balance-sheet showing a credit of £11 7s 3d. The numberjon. tlie roll at Wakanui in 40, overage attendance 37.1; at' Sea-view 12, average, attendance last Quarter 12. The following recommendations were passed on to the" new,-committee, viz.: —To take into consideration the erection of a bath in the'schoolgrotind, also the erection of a shelter shed for the use of the scholars during play-time. . /Votes of thanks were, passed to _the teaching staff at Wakanui and Seaview, and to the outgoing committee.
The following were elected a committee for . the ensuing year : —Mrs E. Begg, Messrs W. J.-Dnak, F. Butterick, E. Broker, and Frederick. Frampton. At a.subsequent meeting Mr F. Framptdn was elected chairman. ,
