A concert and dance in aid of the school prize fund was held at Huntingdon on Friday night, Mr L. Maginness presiding over a large attendance. The programme consisted of songs by Misses Edith Watson, Hammersley, L. Watson. D. Hopwood, and Messrs W. Hopwood and D. Gilmour; a duet by Miss Hopwood and Master E. Hopwood, trio by schoolboys, chorus by schoolgirls, recitations by Masters !E. Hopwood and A. Simpson, and a'pianoforte selection by Miss Bradley. ; The various items were greatly appreciated, the performers on each occasion being heartily applauded. At the conclusion of the concert supper was provided. The music for the dance was supplied by Mr J. Milne and Miss S. Hampton, Mr W. Reeves acting -as M.C. Hie gross receipts exceeded £20.
