SYDNEY, April 13
As the recent arrangement between the colliery owners and employees will affect the New South , : Wales Government to the extent of several hundred thousand po\mds yearly, the Cabinet has decided to intervene, and .has appointed a, Royal Commission to immediately and fully enouire into the coal trade. In view of this the owners refuse to proneed with the arrangement, and the men talk generally of a strike.
The Acting-Federal Prime Minister, the Hon. W. A. Watt, under, whose presidency the arrangement was reached, views the State Government's intervention as. likely to cause serious complications.
