RESCUE WITH VIOLENCE.
LONDON, April 7. Thirty youths invaded the Limerick Hospital, and attempted to rescue Robert Byrne, a hunger-striking prisoner. They attacked the police with bludgeons and revolvers, killing one policeman and wounding five. They bound their victims with ropes, locked them in a room, and escaped with Byrne.
