The entry at the weekly stock and produce, sales* to-day'was much larger than usual on account of the approach of Easter. There was a large attendance. A keeii demand set-in for poultry, and prices all round snowed a marked advance on those lately ruling, good table fowls realising up to 7s 6d per pair. The following were the prices realised : — ' , Poultry.—Hens 2s to 7s 6d per pair,. roosters 3s 3d to 7s 6d per pair, ducks 3s 9d to 5s 9d per pair, turkeys 14s each, eeese 5s to 6s 6d each. Pies.—Fats £4 £s to £5 18s 6d, porkers 66s to 88s, stores 32s to 58s, .weaners 8s to 23s 6d. ' Calves—ls to 4s.
