(Received April 12, 11 a.m. ) LONDON, April 3. Austrian newspapers state that Cotmt Karolyi's handing over of the Government to the Communists was dictated by national sentiment, and was intended,to check the Roumanians' supposed annexationist ambitions,
which Hungary fears the Entente will sanction.
The new Hungarian Government relies on the support'of Budapest and the larger towns. The. peasants, who are eighty, per cent : of the population, are apathetic.
