AUCKLAND, April 9. There are approximately 60 cases of influenza in quarantine at Motuihi Island, including two nurses.
Four of the Niagara's crew were landed to-day, suffering from the disease.
A suspicious case has been found on the liakanoa, which arrived from Newcastle yesterday, and the ship is quarantined.
Major Pettit reported to-night that only three cases were serious.
