PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the provisions of "Harbours Amendment Act, 1910," and its Amendments, and of the regulations made thereunder by the Governor-in-Coiracil, an ELECTION of TWO MEMBERS, to the Office of Member of the Lyttelton Harbour Board by the Electors of the Combined District of the County of Ashburton and the Borough of Ashburton (including Hampstead and Tinwald Town Districts), will be held on WEDNESDAY, the 30th day of April, 1919, and I hereby appoint the Office of the Ashburton Borough Council; Havelock Street, Ashburton,- as the place, and TUESDAY, the loth day of April, 1919, as the day for the Nomination of Candidates. Each Nomination paper, which must be accompanied by a Deposit of Three Pounds (£3), must be in the Form prescribed by the "Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908," and addressed to and lodged with me at the Office aforesaid, before noon on TUESDAY, the 15th day of April, 1919.
