At a meeting of the High School Board of Governors to-day a committee set up to consider teachers' salaries and qualifications recommended that the salaries of secondary school teachers should be revised and increased, also that questions as to their qualification and training be considered, and that a conference of representatives of secondary school boards, including technical colleges, should be called in Wellington during the Parliamentary session.
