. A general meeting of Willowby Red Cross branch was held in the Church Schoolroom on Wednesday afternoon last, when there was' a fair attendance. Mrs W. T. Lill occupied the. chair. The secretary reported that since its inauguration the branch had made 1159 garments, 1887 bandages,. 252 socks, and 1240 pillow-slips, towels, mittens, scarves, balaclavas, etc.; total, 4538. The treasurer presented her report, which was considered satisfactory, and adopted. \ It was decided not to disband, but to hold an annual reunion the first Wednesday in April each year in | memory of the greatest and most dreadful war in the world's history.
The meeting closed with the singing of the National. Anthem.
