WESTPORT. April 8.
A mass meeting at Millerton this morning unanimously sent an ultimatum to the management that the miners were prepared to truck in case of Jicci-dent-or sickness, the'trucker to receive full shift pay, but that no miner would go trucking unless he received the full shift. No collier is to truck his own coal except in isolated places, and then work on shift wages. If the ultimatum is not accepted, there are signs of a prolongetf fight.
