AUCKLAND, April 4. There are now 25" patients suffering from influenza at the quarantine station at Motuihi, under Dr. Pettit. The latter stated to-night that four of. these were serious cases, with pneumonic complications, arid the remainder were ordinary influenza cases, whose condition was satisfactory. ' <■"
Of the patients now under treatment 19 were landed from the Niagara in. the first instance. Two contacts ' subsequently developed the disease, and three more patients were landed from the Niagara tb-tlay. The mails will be fumigated and landed to-morrow. -'
