The conference of the Master G6tt6n Spinners' Federation and the cardroom workers' and operative spinners' amalgamations, at Manchester, decided that all mills spinning American cotton should close from the 10th to the 28th ist., owing to the bad state of the trade. It is estimated that 100,000 operatives will be affected.
