The weather was showery for the second day of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club's autumn meeting. The machine put through the sum of £32,224, as against £28,926 for the second day last year, making a- total for the meeting of £64,929, as 'compared with" £54,423 last year, an increase of £10,506. Concluding results: —
Hawke's Bay Stakes, of 500 sovsj for two and three-year-olds; six furlongs and a-half —Affectation 1, Taunaha 2, Hetaua 3. Won easily by •two lengths; three lengths between second and third. Time, lmin 20 1-5 sec.
Bourke Memorial Stakes, of 400 soys; ohe mile and a-quarter—Tressida 1, Lovematch 2, Sweet Corn 3. Won by a long neck; third horse two lengths away. Time, 2min 6 1-osec.
Akito Hack Handicap, of 150 soys; six "furlongST-Lord" Muskerry 1, Orawia 2.- Ethiopian 3. uonby a length; a similar distance between second and third. Time, Imin 15 3-ssec.
Okawa Hack Handicap, of 150 soys; one mile and a-quarter—Railand 1, Torchlight 2, First Salute 3. Won easily by three lengths; a similar distance between second and third. Time, 2min 11 3-ssec.
Farewell Handicap, of 250 soys; six furlones—Sasanof 1, Nystad 2, Old Gold 3. Won by a length; two lengths between second and third. Time, Imin 14sec.
