' PARIS, April 2. Baron Makino, speaking to an American interviewer, said that Japan vyas ■ not to proud to fight, but was too proud to accept a position of racial inferiority when dealing with associated nations. Japan wanted nothing but justice. He admitted that immigration was a matter of domestic legislatwm, which each country must decide tor itself.
