Replying to Baron Makito, in an interview, Senator. Litchcock, chairman of the Foreign Relations, Committee, said that Japanese . international matters were accorded equality in treatment.. It was only in domestic matters that any discrimination of a racial character occurs. The United States must adhere to these discriminations in order to preserve race purity. Japan was fully empowered to do the same.
