TIMARU RAM FAIR.
TIMARU, April 1
At the Timaru ram fair to-day there was an entry of about 750. The dry soell effected the sale to some extent. Border Leicesters predominated. The top price, 21cns, was paid by Mr R. J. McKeown. The general range of prices was: —Border Leicesters, 3gns to 7gns; English Leicesters. 3gns to Bgns; Romnoys, 3icns to '7-Jfgns: Southdowns. 3Jcns; halfbreds. 4cns to scrns. No Rv^lnnds were offered, and Shropshires and T;ijicolns for the most part were mssed in unsold.
