WELLINGTON, March 13,

For a day or two past a member of the executive of the Wharf Labourers' Union has been making personal enquiries among the men working on the waterfront, and found at work several who were not members of the Union. To-day, several of these men were dismissed, on the ground that frequent warnings had been given them from time to time that all wharf-workers must jojn the union. It was reported that some of the men had. been boasting that they would not join the union.
