The Methven sale, which was held yesterday, was the ■ iargest -• for a considerable time past. There was a large entry, including a' big draft of fat lambs from the Snowdon Estate, and the demand was good, most of the lots going off at good prices. The following were the chief sales :^-83 6 and 8-tooth ■J-bred ewes 19s 6d, 32 lambs (mixed sexes) 15s 9d, 59 J-bred \ lambs (mixed sexes) 14s 3d, 202 2, 4, 6 and 8-t6otli J-bred ewes 21s lOd, 117 s. and'f. mouth ewes 17s 3d, 445 s.m. g-bred ewes 18s 9d, 48 store lambs 14s, 372 2-tooth ]!- bred ewes 23s 6d, 150. s.m. 1-bred ewes. 20s lOd, a line of fat ewes at 17s sd. On behalf of Mr,G. Gerard,' Snowdon —1400 |-bred ewe lambs from 16s 3d to 16s lid, 500 wether lambs 16s, 800 fat lambs 18s Bd.- ' Seven steers were sold at £5 and 2 Fat heifers at £7.
