DONATION OF £25,000
WELLINGTON, March 10. Last evening advice was received that it was reported in London, on the authority of Earl Grey, that an Australian resident had given .£25,000 to the Ulster fund, and that Sir S. McCaughey was the probable donor. On being communicated with. Earl Grey endorsed the statement, but.said he was pledged not to give the donor's name.
