Lord Alfred Douglas disobeyed an order for appearance, in pursuance oi' a decision of the Court. Ho wrote to the Recorder of Old Bailey that he had gone to Paris and did not, intend to appear. His bail of £500 was estreated and a warrant issued for his arrest. (On April 24 Lord Alfred Douglas was bound over in sureties of £500 for libelling' Colonel F. H. distance, his father-in-law, by contending that there bad been a marriage settlement.) .
