DISCUSSION NOT DESIRED
WASHINGTON, March 6.
Mr Bryan , informed the Foreign Affairs' Committee that it was not advisable to precipitate a Mexican discussion.. Britain and other Powers supported the United States policy of reparation.
Mr Bryan insists that there must be punishment of tiiose guilty of. foreigners' losses, and ■ expresses confidence in the investigation ordered by General Carranza.
Mr Ainey demanded full information, deprecating the suggestion that the truth was likely to inflame the American people to demand war while the} 7 universally desired peace.
