SYDNEY, March 6
Mr Estell states that he is satisfied the master butchers will favourably consider the proposals to have work resumed forthwith, as a basis} for a final settlement. In, his opinion} matters are now "as. right as rain."
The employers state they have* made no offer to the men, and ;if tliey go back it must be on the masters'/terms. They declare that about 100 unionists resumed work yesterday. ,//,:..,/.
