LONDON, March 4. It is authoritatively stated m the i lobby that Mr Asquith'e proposals are i sweeping, and include vesting in Ulster ! extensive control, with the loption of I withdrawal at the end of a certain period. I Members of all parties express the opinion that, in June, Mr Birrell will ' re-introduce the Home Rule Bill. ' To-day passed without any discus- , sion. It is expected that some weeks must elapse after Mr Asquith's statement, to permit of the proposals being digested.- . Mr A. IT. Paget's motion will, be dropped. The Union Defence League has taken up the appeal against Horn© Rule, and is distributing a memorial throughout the United Kingdom for signature.
