MR HOLMAN'S THREAT.
NATIONALISATION OF INDUSTRY.
CANCELLATION OF MASTERS'
(Received March 3, 11 a.m.)
SYDNEY, March 3
During an interview with the master butchers, Mr Holmah intimated that unless the dispute was speedily settled the Government would take steps to nationalise the industry. He also intimated that their licenses for killing space at Glebe Island would be cancelled. The Prenrfer gave an assurance that in future the men would not strike, but would refer disputes, in the constitutional way, to f the Court. The masters are indignant at Mr Holman's threat, and will review the situation to-day.
