THANKSGIVING.

Harvest Thanksgiving Day was cele-, brated at the Salvation Army Barracks on Sunday, Staff-Captain Gunn conducting services in. the morning, afternoon and evening. There were large attendances, and the singing, which had been specially arranged for, was much appreciated. In the evening the StaffCaptain took for his text, Jeremiah viii., 20: "The harvest 1 is passed, the summer is ended ; and we are not saved." The Barracks had been appropriately decbratfed for the occasion, a fine display or harvest products and vegetables for the festival to-night and to-morrow night being conspicuous.
