INQUEST ON MOTOR-CYCLIST.
WELLINGTON, March, 1
An inquest was held yesterday at Petone, concerning the death of Frank Revell, 1 a motor-cyclist whose body was found on the roadside oh Friday night. The deceased was- employed as a fitter in the railway workshops; The evidence x showed that a dray had been driven unlighted by Thomas Sheehan. The motorist evidently struck one of the shafts, which was broken and bloodstained. The horse was also cut about. The, Coroner returned a verdict that llevell dietl from injuries accidentally received through collision between his motor-cycle and a dray. ;" r Subsequently Sheehan was charged with being' drunk while in charge, of a cart,' also ,with failing to have a light on the vehicle, arid further that on Febntary 27' he -had been guilty of an omission resulting in the death of llevell. Sheehan was remanded till Wednesday*. ,
