Dealing with the position of the pension fund, he said that was started five years ago, and after adding interest and deducting the payments for the past year the fund stood "at £8190. He had usually added £1000 to the pension fund at tho profit sharing, and is was his desire to increase the amount of the pension fund more quickly. ■He had given' it considerable thought, and had decided to add £1805' -in order to bring the amount up to £10,000. Ho felt that those who had given long son-ice and had borne good characters and lived a consistent and thrifty life should- not feel unduly worried as to a moderate means or livelihood in their declining years.
