THOUSANDS IN HOSPITAL.
PARIS, February 21. Of 723,000 men composing the French Army, 37,531 are in hospital. During a debate in the Chamber, of Deputies, it was admitted 'that there was a lack of clothing, bedding, and heating apparatus in the barracks, the reason, it was said, being due to the unexpected increase in the number of volunteers.
Of 713,000 men in the German Army, 17,610 are in hospital.
